Protealis welcomes Pascal Parize as Head of Sales
As Protealis is expanding its commercial footprint, the company welcomes Pascal Parize who recently joined Protealis as the new Head of Sales.
Pascal has extensive experience in leading sales for various players in the agritech industry, ranging from seed, to seed coating, seed technology and seed equipment markets. His most recent role was as Commercial Manager Southern Europe at Centor Europe, a company specialized in providing seed coating technologies and products, analytical equipment and services in the global seed market and seed technology industry. Before that he was active as a Sales Manager Seed Enhancement Europe for Petkus France, a seed equipment provider, and Global Account Manager for Incotec, a seed technology company specialized in improving the performance and resilience of agricultural seed.
Benjamin Laga, Chief Executive Officer of Protealis, stated: “Pascal's expertise and extensive network within the European seed industry will be invaluable to further support Protealis’ transition towards a commercial organization, while we continue to broaden our product portfolio through highly innovative R&D in support of our mission: delivering sustainable protein crops for Europe.”
Pascal Parize, Head of Sales, reacted: “The combination of Protealis’ seed breeding with state-of-the-art nitrogen fixation technologies allows for the development of superior quality of legume crops such as soy and peas. These crops are locally adapted to provide high yield for European farmers, while the nitrogen directly contributes to a better soil quality that supports farmers with efficient crop rotation and diversification. I’m eager to bring these unique product characteristics to market, together with the Protealis team.”
Based in Angers near Nantes, France, Pascal is set to spearhead sales expansion efforts and drive growth strategies within the European farmers and seed distributor markets. This aligns perfectly with Protealis’ ambition to develop superior seed solutions by leveraging breeding technologies to achieve best-in-class genetics, while providing climate-adapted and easy-to-use inoculation solutions.
